Hexion Inc. completed the expansion of the R&D center at it’s forest products complex in Edmonton, Alberta. The R&D center will be focusing on the development of next generation resin chemistry for panel production which complements company’s existing EcoBind™ resin technology. The lab will also be focusing phenol substitution in phenolic resins with bio-based raw materials, such as lignin.
